Following a very productive meeting of the SPGU at the REGC on Wednesday 14th Feb 2019. The following suggestions were put forward and subsequently agreed by the committee to take place with immediate effect.
1/. All alliance meetings will now have an individual prize fund. Initially this will be self funded and will not impact on the finances of the event. This is entirely optional and is open to all Professionals and any amateurs that wish to enter. Scoring will be stableford of scratch, (no shots). £20 entry per person, prizes will be paid on the day.
2/. Preferred method of payment for all Pro only events and annual subscriptions is via bank transfer. Entry fees will remain at £45 which includes catering. Pairs matchplay £80 per pair. Please make sure your name and tournament reference details are clearly marked. Payment must be made 7 days prior to the event, and notification via email. Alliance events entry fees will continue to be paid on the day.
3/. All prize money from Pro only events and Pro Ams will be paid by bank transfer at the end of every month.
4/. In the near future I will announce details of a new OOM to include all individual scores from alliance events, Pro Ams and Pro individual events. I hope to have a sponsor for this and this will be presented at Xmas fayre in
